Seedless grapes are the stars of our work. We offer seedless grapes to encourage and facilitate the consumption of grapes, especially for children.
Seedless grapes are available all year round. When the harvest in Spain has finished, we look for them in other countries so that grapes are always available and the consumer can keep enjoying them.
Continuing the work undertaken by its founder Don Ignacio Prieto in the sixties, we produce, import and export grapes of the best quality. We have a united and motivated stuff, a great professional team passionate about daily work to market the best products.
The cultivation of table grapes is known in the Vinalopo valley since ancient times. In Ignacio Prieto, after more than half a century of experience, we have managed to combine the craftsmanship in the fields with the cutting-edge production techniques.
We have 250 hectares in Spain to produce our grapes, equipped with the perfect installations and facilities for each of the different grape varieties.
Our fields are located in the province of Alicante, at the heart of the so called “Valley of the Grapes”, distributed between the municipalities of Aspe and Monforte del Cid. We are also present in the province of Murcia, bearing farmlands in Cieza.
We choose carefully the most suitable piece of land for each variety and its harvesting period.
Our main premises are located in Aspe, Alicante, with more than 7,000 m2 of space, equipped with machining lines that help our staff in the traditional manual process of selection and packaging of our grapes, obtaining a professional high quality result.
OUR HEALTHY GRAPE
Grapes provide great health benefits due to its large amount of nutrients, such as its powerful antioxidants, multiple vitamins and numerous minerals.
The most important element among the phytonutrients in grapes is a “family” of compounds called polyphenols. All red, green and black grapes contain polyphenols. They are found in each part of the grape: skin, flesh and seeds. These polyphenols promote antioxidant activity and assist in cell-to-cell transmissions. Certain studies suggest that polyphenols contribute to heart health, also suggesting that they may also play a role in healthy aging.
Resveratrol is some kind of “celebrity” in the polyphenol family as it has drawn lots of scientific and media attention. Resveratrol is being studied around the world for a wide range of potential health benefits, including the heart, and defense against certain cancers. Grapes are one of the main natural dietary sources of resveratrol.
In addition, grapes hold hundreds of compounds that also are present in other natural plants, including many other polyphenols, which can work combined with resveratrol to offer potential health benefits.
